Lodges4U is an online marketplace that connects owners and guests together. We are not a booking agent and are not party to the rental contract between owners and guests. This gives all our owners complete control of their listings, setting their prices, managing all bookings and dealing with guest enquiries.

We specialise in providing you with an online platform that gives accommodation providers the ability to create, edit and amend listings, recieve guest enquiries by email, phone or through your website, add and update accommodation availability and rates, and even has the built in technology for you to take bookings and payments online.

 

What makes us different to other websites?

When we first came up with the idea for Lodges4U, our ultimate goal was to create a website that provides owners with an intuitive online platform to advertise and manage their rental accommodation as cost effective as possible.

A search of the internet found that there were sites out there that advertised holiday accommodation, but a lot of them were really complicated to use and very expensive with some charging owners anything up to to 40% of their advertised rental price in commission. To us, this seemed crazy and only forced owners to increase their prices to try and offset those hefty charges making it harder to rent their property out and more expensive for guests to find themselves a good deal.

With this in mind, we decided the best solution was to keep things simple.

 

How Does It Work?

We charge an annual fee to list a Lodge, Log Cabin or Glamping Pod on the Lodges4U website whilst still giving you access to some amazing features to manage your holiday let. YOU choose whether to allow bookings through our website, and if you do you have complete piece of mind that there is no commission charged on any bookings you make through our site and there are no hidden fees. You can keep your prices competitive and receive the full amount of your rental cost every time. 

The annual fee we charge you allows us to invest in our online technology to promote and advertise your accommodation to the thousands of guests that are looking to book their next holiday or short break. Staycation popularity has boomed in recent years and reaching out to those people looking for the perfect accommodation is important to increase your occupancy rates. We promise to put revenue back into our website and promote the Lodges4U brand so that you get as many bookings as possible.

 

Ready To Get Started?

We have made getting your Lodge, Log Cabin or Glamping Pod advertised on the Lodges4U website quick and easy. With minimal fuss, you could be taking bookings for your holiday let in no time at all. You don’t need to have any technical knowledge or expertise to get started and we will guide you every step of the way.

 

  • Sign Up - You will need to register for an owners account to create a listing. To do this, simply click the ‘Register” link which can be found at the top right-hand side of the website and follow the on-screen instructions. We will send you an email asking you to click a link to verify your email address, so keep an eye out for this in your mailbox. If you do not receive an email after a few minutes – please check your spam folder.
  • Choose A Package - Once you have registered and verified your email address you can login to the owner dashboard and choose your advertising package. We have kept our advertising plans as simple as possible so you won’t have a huge list to choose from.
  • Creating A Listing - You are now ready to let every know all about your holiday let. When you create your listing, we recommend including as much information as possible to let guests know what facilities they should expect. Make full use of the summary and description fields to write about your holiday rental, add plenty of high quality photos and don’t forget to add or upload your availability calendar and set your rates.  (To reduce the risk of fake listings, we will ask you to verify your ownership of the holiday let you are listing on Lodges4U. We will email you once your signed up with details of what proof is required to give your membership “Verified Status”.)
  • Receive Bookings - Now your listing is live you can sit back and wait for bookings and enquiries to come through. Guests can contact you via our secure messaging system prior to making a booking if they have any questions. If you advertise on multiple websites, please make sure you keep your availability calendar up to date.
  • Getting Paid - With our secure payment system, we take care of processing any payments for you which means you do not need to deal with any money directly. Guests are charged upon booking and these funds will show as part of your available balance in your owner dashboard. Funds become available the day after your guests check in date. The dates your funds become available may vary slightly depending on your own guest cancellation policy. You can be paid via Paypal or Bank Transfer.
